The Southern Foodways Alliance and Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q created the Southern BBQ Trail in an effort to document the history, tradition, and culture of bbq throughout the South. This is an on-going project. There will be regular additions to the oral history archive, as well as to the locations on our interactive map. The Southern BBQ Trail is also a resource for cultural tourists who would like to hit the road in search of authentic and unique culinary experiences. We hope you will use the BBQ Trail as your guide. Grab a napkin and go! CONTACT US
